0:45.0	Have you watched the news lately? I must tell you that sometimes when I watch the news, I get a little discouraged.
0:53.4	It's bad news after bad news, after bad news. One of the great dangers of watching too much news,
0:57.4	frankly, is that we get our eyes on the national scene.
0:59.7	Someone says, well, shouldn't we look at the national scene?
1:00.6	Of course we should.
1:02.4	We should keep up with current events.
1:03.6	We should pray for our nation.
1:08.4	We should be aware of what's going on around us and a part of so many things. And yet, one of the dangers of looking at the national picture
1:12.3	is forgetting the personal one.
1:15.2	For example, national problems come because of personal problems.
1:20.1	National victories are won through personal victories.
1:23.5	National revival can only come from personal revival.
1:27.2	When you come to a book like Second Kings, where our journey takes us to today,
1:31.8	it's easy to look at the national picture, to see a nation, to see kings and kingdoms and see an empire,
1:38.9	but neglect the message of the Holy Spirit to your own soul.
