In two months of war between Israel and Hamas, the death toll has reached terrifying heights.

Nearly 17,500 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza according to the Hamas

controlled health ministry and new casualties have been reported this week

and the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and Northern Israel. More than 60 journalists and media workers are among those killed, a record number according

to the Committee to Protect Journalists.

One of those who lost his life is Reuters videographer Isam Abdullah, who was killed in southern Lebanon on

October 13th.

New investigations by two news organizations and two human rights groups say it was Israeli

tank shells that killed him and injured six others.

Human Rights Watch and AFP claimed the strike was, quote, deliberate.

In October, Israel called the death a, quote, tragic thing without acknowledging involvement.
