We begin with last night Liverpool won, not going to forest one, but the other way around because not going to forest forest were home. It was at the city ground in the Midlands, what has become, what has

kind of always been quite a tricky place to go, it feels like for the Reds, but even

more so this time around, of course, because the Forest, brilliant season thus far, and indeed

spectacular, remarkable form, form actually and sort of

upturned fortunes certainly compared to last season they've been a proper team they showed that

and they proved that at anfield and they're showing it once again last night because they're

organised they're physical they're very well drilled,

and they've got some quality along the way as well.

Yeah, Liverpool weren't at it, certainly not in the first half.

It was a frustrating one in many ways,

because I felt like we had done a lot of the fundamentals required to win the game

in terms of stifling the atmosphere, getting a foothold,

getting a decent amount of possession and getting into dangerous areas whereby we could potentially hurt from it.

But too often the decision making in the final third left a lot to be desired.

The quality wasn't really unshow either when we were getting opportunities to shoot and let fly

and potentially test Matt Sell

also ended up having an absolute all-time performance later on turned into prime January

Lee DuBouffon as the game wore on which was frustrating really because yeah we weren't perfect

anything but perfect I think in the first half in particular we obviously go one-nill-down

Chris Wardwell taken goal been some criticism of Alison Becker in the aftermath,

but I'm not sure he could have done much about this one personally.

It's poor defending from the outset from Liverpool, really, to a man.
