Summary

Venezuelan-American political operative Jose Niño returns to Geopolitics & Empire to give his take on the U.S. border security situation and mass influx of Afghan refugees and Haitian migrants. He believes migration is being weaponized and serves the globalist ideology of the Biden Administration and Democratic Party as it creates an electoral pipeline and augments the power of the managerial state. It also serves the bipartisan oligarchy that seeks cheap labor. He explains why he thinks an “immigration moratorium” is in order and touches on Florida and Texas policies which he sees as “policy ghettoization” or decentralization, where states are taking matters into their own hands. He also comments on whether he thinks the status quo will remain in Cuba or whether it might “democratize”, and the crazy idea of the U.S. absorbing Havana and making it a 51st or 52nd state.

Thanks for joining the podcast once again, Jose. How is life in Texas?

0:16.4

Oh, it's going quite well. Yeah, the lockdown stuff has been loosening for the past few months and things are going back to normal.

0:25.6

I mean, you do see some people all masked up and stuff, but generally speaking, things are going the way they should be.

0:33.6

Though other states are not doing so well in the U.S., obviously.

0:38.3

I hope we continue down that pathway of returning to some sort of normal, but I fear that

0:44.1

we might have a dark winter and they're going to lock everything down again.

0:49.1

That's my feeling.

0:50.2

Unfortunately, time will tell.

0:52.6

So the last time I discussed the border issue was with left-wing author Todd Miller.

0:58.1

Today we'll be looking at it from a contrarian dissident right conservative point of view,

1:03.1

as you can sort of paint yourself.

1:05.5

Perhaps we can start with the piece you wrote for a substack on Mexico.

1:08.6

You write about how cartel power is growing and creating

1:12.2

insecurity on the border as well as within the U.S.

1:15.0

In fact, recently Chile warned that Mexican cartels were attempting to set up shop in their

1:20.6

country.

1:21.4

You've also written about the tens of thousands of Haitians that are now coming to Texas.

1:26.6

I've kind of lost track of it. I read that, you know, like 10, 20,000 Haitians are are now coming to Texas. I've kind of lost track of it.
