So we thought as we get to sort of the end of autumn and the end of the gardening year, really,

we would have a little bit of a look back at the thing that's been most traumatic for us this season,

which has been a massive incursion of deer. And we have both fallow and roe deer in East Sussex.

And we just wanted to talk about what damage they've done here and then what we have done about it,

what succeeded and what less so.

So I'm just going to tell you a little story to start us off.

We've been away quite a lot this summer and with us go our dogs.

Not surprisingly.

So Curly and Dusty come with us. And they are Yap

factories. They are barkaholics. And particularly at deer outside the window. So when we go

away, the siren to chase away the deer goes away with us. And that is one part of the story. But the second
