Welcome, everyone, it is Susie Larson Live, Than Bennett here sitting in for Susie this week.

I'm so honored.

It's been such a fun week to be able to be with you each hour, each day this week.

And this is going to be a good one, folks.

This is a show, as you know, where we get to

have conversations every single day that inspire us in our faith walk, that deepen our

understanding of God's Word, and that heighten our awareness of his very real presence in our life

and friends today. It's going to be another good one. We have been talking all week about investing in eternal things.

And we've been focusing in on three things.

Number one, God's Word.

Number two, the people and the souls around us.

And number three, the work that he's given each of us to do.

And my question for you today is this.

How do we accomplish these goals in the tough areas

of life, in the challenging areas of life? For example, what about when our communities

are gripped with crime? What about when poverty abounds? What about when corruption seems

to win the day over and over again? What then? How do we as the church and how do we as

Jesus followers engage on those very real, very gritty, very practical levels, and how do we do it

in furtherance of a kingdom impact? And today is going to be a perfect opportunity to address
