Summary

In 2008 Joshua Maddux went missing after leaving his home in Colorado to go for a walk. He remained missing for seven years until his body was found in the chimney of an abandoned cabin two blocks from his home. It was ruled it an accidental death, but the odd details surrounding the case don't add up. His clothes were found inside the cabin and a suspicious man was overheard bragging about killing him. What really happened to Joshua?

I am Melissa Sutton, and I'm producer Maria, who was 15 minutes late because she was outside

digging a ditch. True story. We had to call her, and she said, so sorry, I've been outside

1:55.4

digging a ditch. And it wasn't that I forgot that we were recording. I just thought we were

1:59.9

recording later in the day because there was one time we did. Yeah, she said, don't we record

2:05.2

it at 11.30, and we said, no, Maria, we've been recording at 11 a.m. every day for a year.

2:12.2

It's been over a year at the start. It gets scary, doesn't it? Because then you,

2:16.0

2:22.1

be interrogated, and they were like, well, what time do you record web crawlers? I would have been

2:26.2

like every week. We record web crawlers at 11.30 a.m. on Sunday, and they would be like, you do.

2:31.9

So, so, and I would, your alibi would be wrong. It would be so wrong, and they'd be like,

2:37.4

you're lying, because Melissa and Ali both said that you're well aware that you recorded 11 a.m.
