1:16.0	Over the past couple of searchlight programs, we have been looking at an interesting and important part of the spirit-filled Christian life speaking in tongues. This is being illustrated for us by a story in Joshua Chapter 5.
1:21.0	Remember that what is happening to Joshua and Israel is a picture for us of our spiritual journey.
1:27.0	Israel was saved from the world, that is Egypt,
1:31.0	baptized in the Red Sea, and then brought into the promised land.
1:36.1	In the same way, we are saved by Jesus from the world and baptized in water.
1:41.5	We can then cross over the Jordan so to speak and be baptized in the
1:45.6	Holy Spirit. The flow of the Israelites journey parallels our own spiritual
1:51.2	journey. This being the case we should then be very interested in
1:55.6	what happens next. We see what happens next in chapter 5 after Israel crosses
2:01.6	over the Jordan River.
2:03.0	Once they are all safely over,
2:05.0	God commands Joshua to circumsize all the men.
