Welcome to Searchlight. A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a

systematic study of the entire Bible chapter by chapter book by book.

Over the past couple of searchlight programs, we have been exploring a very important question regarding being baptized in the Holy Spirit. The question is, how do we know for sure?

How do we know for sure that we are baptized in the Spirit?

What is the evidence in our lives that gives us the proof?

As we join John today in our study in Joshua chapter 4, we will see the evidence.

So let's get right to our teaching and find the answer. Here is

Pastor John. On that day, verse 14, the Lord magnified Joshua in the sight of

all Israel,

and they feared him as they feared Moses

all the days of his life.

When Joshua himself was baptized,

we talked about this last week, did we not? Jesus was also baptized in the Jordan.

And when he was baptized, the spirit came upon him in the form of a dove,

and he started his ministry. He was magnified in the sight of all humanity just like
