A survey through scripture with Pastor John Corson. It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Over the past couple of searchlight programs we have been looking at the dividing of the promised

land. After coming out of Egypt, God told Israel to move into the promised land and enjoy the abundance,

for it was the land of milk and honey.

But that generation feared the inhabitants of the land and never possessed the land that God had promised them.

The next generation, however, believed God and Joshua led them into the promised land and conquered it.

As we join John today, he is describing the final division of the land among the tribes.

Here now is,

I thought Dan was up north, so what does it mean

that the tribe of Dan is down by Ekron and Jaffa

and Tel Aviv as we know it today and all of that.

What's the deal? I don't understand.
