Hello everyone. I've got, um, a guy I've been, I don't say maybe friends with, acquaintances,

kind of friends with for quite some time, does some amazing work.

And it's kind of taken over the, the knife world from my perspective, on the other end of the

mic and that's Josh Smith with Montana knife company. Man, I appreciate you coming on.

Yeah, thanks for having me. I appreciate it. I've, uh, enjoyed listening to this podcast for a

long time. So it's cool to be on it. You've had a lot of cool guests on. So it's honor to be here.

Well, yeah, let's not oversell it, but I appreciate that.

Oh, yeah. I, yeah, well, I've got, I've got a few of your knives. Um, I've used them off and on.

All right. Well, I use the speed goat. I'd say more than off and on. That one strapped to my pack all

the time. But I've used your knives off and on for the last probably three years. I guess two years

for sure. Um, but why don't you tell everybody a little bit about when you got started and kind of,

you know, the transformation and then where you're at now because you, you're pretty much everywhere

now. Um, or all over the place. And, you know, kind of tell everybody how that happened and,

and you're, your backstory. Yeah, it's, uh, it's pretty cool. I mean, we, we kind of seem to be

all over the place, even though we also are so new that, uh, I'd say we're probably still mostly

unknown, but it, it's, it's definitely been, uh, kind of a rocket ship the last couple of years.

Um, yeah, I, I mean, to kind of, I'll try to kind of keep it somewhat short and then you can

expand on if you want, but I, uh, I started making knives when I was 11. Uh, I was growing up in
