I thought generally with the mystery that's been surrounding

Josh Simmons this last, what, five weeks, to have him show up and be back in the building

on the day that they're going away for the bye week, it took me a little back. But the more I thought

about it, the more I thought, okay, well,

if you need acclamation time, you need one-on-one work or you need to just get back on the flow

of things, it does make sense so that next week he's ready to jump back into the mix.

Did it surprise you?

How do you feel about the process?

I mean, it wasn't a tremendous surprise because the chief seemed to be hoping that this was at least the time frame that Josh Simmons would be back, whether it was during the buy week or next week.

But sometime in this frame after the Bills game, it seemed like that was the time that the chiefs were hoping that Josh Simmons would be back.
