Trey Young to the Wizards. How real is it?

So the news got out there last evening.

I know the athletic was part of the news cycle on Trey Young to the Wizards

as a possibility. How real do you think it is? I think it's a plausible scenario. The

wizards are open to taking on money, especially if it means that they get a draft pick or a young player

in return.

I would think that that would be the central element of any negotiation with the Atlanta Hawks.

What kind of pick or picks are the Hawks willing to give up to convince the Wizards to take on

Trey Young's $49 million player option for next year?

And I would imagine that that's the center.

I would imagine that that's the center of the conversations,

the Hawks and the Wizards appear to be having.

What would go back to Atlanta, Josh?

Well, it would have to be a match of rough salary match.

So C.J. McCollum would be the most obvious part of that deal, in part because C.J. McCollum

has helped them win games this year.

So there would be a benefit to moving off of C.J.

Because he has played well, for the most part.

But there would have to be additional salaries going out.

I would think that Cam Whitmore could be in play there.
