You know why I pause. I want to give it that dramatic effect. Also, I was picking up the eyegrocks to actually see what the date was.

Because I am recording responsibly the night before we released this, which is the way you've been getting this stuff at like 5 or 6 a.m.

For that morning commute. And I think producer Jordan for that because he keeps the hours of a vampire, which is the only way we can get that out. If it were left up to me, this thing would be lunchtime at the earliest. So thankfully, we have people around here who really take the ball and work overnight. And they deserve a lot more credit than they get. So there you go, Jordan.

I'm giving you all the credit in the world. I bet you don't edit that out. But I'm also pausing

for that dramatic effect to let you know it's September 9th. And that means we're 48 hours away

from Iowa and Iowa State. I'm going to be up there. We've got a question about it to lead off

the show because a lot of you think, what does the matter with us do? He's so disproportionately attached to this game. I am, and I'll explain it, answering a question. We got the late night gambling chat over on Instagram on Friday night,

tentatively named Friday night lines. And then also, hey guys, I'm at the game that you're probably

watching on TV every Saturday. And I get to see stuff you don't get to see. Well, that is, unless you're

following on social, in which case I show you as much as I possibly can.

Sometimes the teams ask me to take it down and I do. Like I had, I don't know if I can tell you this. I had a video of one of the teams, let's just say, that was in Charlotte, North Carolina Saturday. It was either Georgia or Clemson. I can narrow it down that much and no further. It wasn't the officials. And I got some footage and they knew I had it. And they said, hey, here's $500. Delete it. They didn't give me $500. But they just asked kindly, hey, let's, can we not let that get out? Because they knew I had seen something. They didn't want out. And that's fair. It's totally fair. So I deleted it and I looked at them like Dwight Shrut would look when he was handing out bagels all over the office. And then he just said, you owe me one. And then I walked away. But yes, yes, yes, make sure you're following. And, you know what, let me get to this question. And then I got a little challenge for you on the other side of this question. So Shane, it might as well have been a million of you, but Shane said, be real. Iowa State has to be paying you something

for all this free pub you give them. You openly said this week on the show, you're from Georgia, you have never been to Iowa. I know good and well, nobody from Georgia pulls for Iowa State. So what gives, bro? Shane, let me explain it. I've been doing a lot of radio and some podcasts up in Iowa. I've had to explain this many times this week. Yes, I grew up in Georgia. No, up until this Friday, I have never set foot in the state of Iowa. But when I was growing up, it was drummed into my head that SEC atmospheres were the best atmospheres on the planet. And I'm not saying that's not true. I've been to most of the big ones. I've got to get to a game at Arkansas. It kills me that I cannot be at that Texas game this weekend. I really wish I could space the college football calendar out more. But thus far, until you guys elect me commission, or I don't really have much say-so over that. But I was taught all these atmospheres down here, you know, the world basically is

flat. And once you get outside the SEC footprint, it just falls off and you just fall into the abyss.

Well, I naturally wanted to find things that were outside of that world. And so I would watch

Penn State and I would watch USC and I would watch a lot of the national games on TV when I was growing up.
