Zondervan Academic kindly sent me Josh's book, and just like anyone, getting a book in the mail, is like Christmas every time I go to my mailbox.

I opened it and immediately reached out to Josh, because it's high time we have a conversation about atonement.

Some of you are thinking, yes, I love talking about atonement.

Others of you are moaning about yet another take on what the atonement is that complicates rather than clarifies, yet another argument about which theory is better, etc. But my friends, this is not going to be one of those conversations. Today we're going to move toward, in Josh's words,
