metals now Josh you look like you barely slept but it's been I guess three guys you look absolutely terrible but guess

what we're here it's like three days since this race how have you gone about

processing it yeah I think you, after each championships has been completely different, obviously in 2021, you know, COVID stuff, everything was on Zoom and then in 23, like, you know, being able to get shipped everywhere and then here's

so obviously the atmosphere is pretty crazy a lot of companies have put a lot of money

into different structures and so I haven't really stopped since but I'm yeah I'm

having a good time it was the greatest Olympic 1500 meter

final ever you know from your vantage point what are you gonna remember the most from

this race I do I mean something that will never leave me is when my

hearing went at 500 in and I was like damn we must be running pretty quick.

Normally that would happen to me after the race like during my views if I ever sound like I'm deaf that's why your hearing is actually going yeah it just goes really so loud in there I was just so focused on the floor I was like just like I just want to go to go to my happy place for a little bit.

I was like I'm going to have to I'm going to have to weather this like world record

attempt storm right now and then see if I've got some work left in me in the last 500 and I did but it's going out that hard

it's like you got to just really just lock in and just get on the rail and going to sleep.

Race plan wise like was this exactly what you expected I mean a lot of people the thinking was

for yachup to try and win this thing he would have had to pull from the front

and that's what he went out and tried to do yeah yeah I think it was the first time

I've ever like ran with plan A plan A was just get out reasonably well, sit on the rail and go to sleep the first 800

and wake up and get to work in that last 600.

So that was the plan. You know I was at 600 ago at any opportunity if it was
