Summary

Josh Jacobs was arrested this week after an alleged domestic assault situation and it could be yet another blow to the Green Bay Packers that prevents them from taking the next step everyone is always anticipating them to take. Combine this with poor running back depth, Micah Parson's recovery and Matt LaFleur on the hot seat, and the Packers have a anxiety-filled season ahead. The Minnesota Vikings will hope to beat out not only the Packers, but the entire division. To do so, they need to decide on their starting quarterback as soon as possible, whether that is Kyler Murray or JJ McCarthy. Finally, the Los Angeles Chargers gave a historic deal to Derwin James and it sets up a season where the Chargers have to win a playoff game. However, it will likely be the Chargers offense that leads them to it rather than the defense at this point.
