Good morning. It is 93 WIBC. It is Casey and Jim, and we were watching the landing

splash down Friday evening. And then we watched all of the coverage, the press conference

that they had later at night. And as we were just chilling out,

hanging out watching, all of a sudden, we saw Josh Dinner from space.com be called for a question.

And I popped up and I said, Jim, that's our dude. And we have a dude when it comes to space.

We have a space guy. How do you feel about that, Josh, being called our guy? You're our guy. You know that, right? It is, it is pretty cool to be the space guy. I'll, I'll admit. I'm not going to complain. So you were there when Splashdown happened. You were in Houston. You were there for the press conference. I want to start with what, what was that

like? Tell us what the vibe was. You know, the vibe at JSC was exciting. I think everyone,

you know, the press, the NASA employees, the friends and family of the astronauts and everyone

else who was there were really just excited.

I think there was an element before Splashdown, maybe a little bit of anxiety and nervousness,

because you never know how these things are going to go, but I would just say in general,

excitement. And after Splashdown, relief and more more excitement it was really an incredible experience

to be there for Josh dinner from space.com is joining us for talking about the landing of Artemis too

yeah Josh I wanted to talk a little bit more about that anxiety because as Casey and I were sitting

around at home watching this and watching the reentry,

we were kind of white knuckling it there because that is a pretty dangerous point in time.

Can you talk a little bit more about that?

You mentioned anxiety, but, I mean, was the room white knuckling it like we were?

I think some people may have been, I don't think I was necessarily white knuckling it, but you know, you always, you never know.

And with this mission, there was some concern based off the results from Artemis 1 about the Artemis 2 heat shield.

There was a lot of charring.

There was some dislodgement of materials from the Artemis 1 reentry.
