Josh DeMorrow just led his first shareholder meeting as chief executive officer of the Walt Disney Company.

0:05.2

Let's dive into the details.

0:10.3

It's Thursday, March 19th, and yesterday was Josh Tomorrow's first day as chief executive officer of the Walt Disney Company.

0:18.5

He's not the only newly appointed executive. Dana Walden took over

0:22.6

as the newly appointed president of the Walt Disney Company, first ever in Disney history,

0:27.5

as well as her newly appointed role, the first ever chief creative officer working alongside Josh.

0:34.3

And replacing Josh is now Thomas Maslim, who is the new chair for Disney experiences.

1:15.1

the details for this shareholder presentation, which is always an entertaining event. There are

1:21.9

very focused legal business operations that take place at the shareholder meeting, but the

1:27.3

beginning is typically

1:28.5

a fanfare of emotional and entertaining contents. And that stood the test of time again at

1:37.4

yesterday's shareholder meeting because it began with a sizzle reel for the Walt Disney company,

1:43.2

showing how Walt's legacy continues to this day,

1:46.1

very smartly positioned as Josh takes over as CEO of the company.

1:51.8

Then transition, and by the way, if you didn't get to see it, I think you can see it online

1:55.0

on social media and on YouTube.
