ups and downs of his life and his career. I just think I was a guy in their minds that should

In his just released memoir, from under the truck, we learned that he started stealing cigarettes at nine,

got stabbed in the belly button in Costa Rica, and had a stint in prison.

From Under the Rock is a book about Josh Brolin's trajectory as an artist and an actor,

but it's also about what it was like to grow up on a ranch with a mercurial mother,

hit it big in a movie as a teenager, become a day trader in his 20s,

and be nominated for an Academy Award at 40.
