I have just made my Broadway debut in the long-running Chicago, the musical.

I'm playing Mama Morton.

It has been a dream come true.

And, you know, the experience has kind of blown my mind because

you wait for something for so long or you kind of build up anticipation for something for so long.

And you convince yourself what it's going to feel like and what it's going to be like.

And then you get there.

And it's so much simpler, but also so much more than you could have ever imagined.

Let me tell you what this experience has been like.

Opening night, I was a bundle of nerves, but we had just the most amazing, generous audience,

and the show was on fire that evening.
