Today's case is one that reminds us all that you never know what is going on behind closed

Domestic abusers are very skilled at hiding their crimes, as I discuss in some of my courses, and you might as well, Amy, but one of the reasons domestic violence is so difficult to detect is because it often does happen behind closed doors where it's not visible to us.

And that's in direct contrast to street crimes, which we can often see, right?

Literally we can see them. So for domestic violence, it's hidden. There's often not many

witnesses and it can be hard to prove. And unfortunately, children are the most vulnerable in these scenarios.
