We just, I just saw this a little while ago, but Frank Reich named as the O.C.

In New York for the Jets, it now looks like Cliff Kingsbury very likely is going to be, I think, will be shut out of a job in the NFL this year. A, does that

surprise you? B, what does it say? What's going on, Kevin? Thanks for having me back on the show.

Yes, it does surprise me a little bit. I think when you view Cliff Kingsbury, the Office of

Coordinator, there are some questions that come with him.

I mean, how is he going to operate an offense without a quarterback who's mobile,

which is a staple in his office scheme?

And then you also have to wonder if he's going to be basically a mercenary because he's

someone who wants to be a head coach once again.

And then on top of that, I don't know if he's been able to show that he can have

consistent success that extends for multiple seasons. So those are some of the things I wondered

about with Cliff Kingsbury as an offensive coordinator prospect. But I definitely thought that

he was going to be able to catch on to a job. I was looking at the New York Giants as a potential

match for him.

I thought it was a great pairing with Jackson Dart, who obviously likes to use his legs

with the New York Jets as well because he could be the head coach for that offensive side of the

ball. This is an incredibly important hire for Aaron Glenn, who enters the 2026 season on the

hot seat. So yes, I am surprised to see Cliff Kingsbury not catch a job on the carousel.
