Purdue basketball played their B game today, and their B game was enough to win. Braden Smith played his D game, but he was lifted up by two other pieces that have meant everything to this program. Their all-time three-point leader, Fletcher lawyer, was electric. And consistently, they were able to go down low to Trey Kaufman Rinn, the master of the floater. He was dominant in the painted area with 19 points.

Malik Rew, they knew that they were going to go to him early and often.

He did finish with 16, but on 6 of 15 shooting, made it tough on the big fella.

That was the difference, a group that's won a lot, figuring it out down the stretch

when they absolutely needed to.

Michigan and Bama, Iowa State, and Tennessee.
