Summary

This month, TSFU Presents: Jonesin' for Jonestown! Ash and Dawn Brody of the hilarious and insanely informative podcast HILF: History I'd Like to Fuck, take a hard look at how Jones' "church" began and the events that led up to its tragic end.

Things get cultier, as they tend to do, when Jones starts encouraging followers to immerse themselves more fully by giving over their material wealth and possessions over to the church... as well as volunteer/work for free in their spare time. Jones begins to lose it and starts publicly beating people bloody during services. He starts doing a ton of drugs, gets even more controlling and sexual abuse within the church begins.
