Hawks lose 4-0 to the Florida Panthers and Jonathan Tave's 1,000th game.

And fellas, as we were sitting here kind of getting ready to talk about this one,

it felt like one of those losses as opposed to the Buffalo loss and the Vegas loss

where you just sort of thought

they just got outplayed by a better team and that's really all there is to it.

Sergei Barbravsky was awesome when the Hawks did get chances.

They actually outshot and outchance the Panthers in this game and just couldn't find the back of

the net and Florida seemed to kind of, you know, when they need a goal, they can get one.

And, you know, Barkov and company asserted their dominance in this one and the Hawks

just lost, which I guess is a better situation than blowing a huge lead or collapsing late.

This is the best kind of loss you can have, I suppose.

Yeah, we talked about coming out and what kind of effort we were going to see from this

team after the way that they lost to the Sabres, the way that they lost to the Golden Knights.

And I get, we wouldn't, I wouldn't say that the effort wasn't, you know, wasn't an unacceptable effort, but

sometimes you're just not the better team.

Sometimes you, and we expected this against a much more talented Panthers team, and we

probably might get a little bit of the same tomorrow against the lightning.
