| 0:56.0 | for Joe Biden versus Donald Trump. And I'm curious how you think history will view 2022 for the Biden administration. |
| 1:03.0 | Well, I would go back even a little bit further. And we saw in the summer of 2021, |
| 1:10.0 | Biden's approval basically collapsing after the Afghanistan withdrawal. |
| 1:16.0 | And from that moment, until around the summer time of this year, |
| 1:21.0 | many people were effectively writing his political obituary. |
| 1:25.0 | And there was sort of a torrent of stories that were written with at least the tacit assumption |
| 1:32.0 | that there was a good chance he wouldn't run for reelection. |
| 1:35.0 | And his presidency was effectively over that there was going to be next year a Republican house |
| 1:42.0 | with a big majority and probably a Republican Senate, |
| 1:46.0 | that while he had accomplished some major things legislatively, |
| 1:51.0 | there was no chance of anything further, et cetera, et cetera. |
| 1:54.0 | I think that that story started to shift a little bit in the summer of this year |
