Hello, everybody. It is May 1st today. That means spring has sprung, and it is time for changes.

I have two big announcements for you today, one slightly bigger than the other, but both important to me.

I want to start by, I don't know, talking about the past a little bit.

You know, we've been doing trivial warfare for a very long time.

We started in February of 2015.

And I remember back in 2018, I did a big push to see if I could earn enough money doing it to try and go full time.

We did increase our income back then. It was awesome. Your support was amazing. It was not enough to trigger the change back then,

which was disappointing, but it did open up lots of new things that we were able to put together

for you, and I was really happy with it you know um in

October of last year I lost my job I was a senior IT director at a global company and I lost my

job and I was hard had to go through a lot of soul searching decision making did a lot of job

searching and don't really love what's in the market right now mostly it's jobs for people

who want an IT leader to come and inject AI into all of their systems and make them magically awesome.

And I'm not about that life.

I don't believe in AI being great for big corporations or macro level things.

I think it's much better used in personal projects and other stuff like that.

So I'm not the person that is going to say, hey, hire me and I'll go do this for you

because I'm not going to go do this for them.

And that put me in a real bind.

I've also been talking with Sarah a lot about what that's like.

Because if I do take a job, it's going to get my all. You know, it's going to get my best.

And I really don't love the way that giving my best feels when I give it to a corporation.
