this and you go, oh my God, the Lakers will be stupid not to do this. That might be exactly what

some people out there want you to think.

We need to get a little bit more in depth into what this would really mean for the

Lakers to acquire Jonathan Kamenga before we can come to a conclusion about whether or not

they should actually do this.

Plus, we need to talk about the Lakers, new big man of the present, of the future.

What does the arrival of Walker Kessler mean for the Lakers?

Walker Kessler, is now officially a Laker. How do we know? Well, the team tweeted about it. That's

how you know this time of year when something is officially official. Interesting. It took a little bit for the Lakers to actually put it out there. That Walker Kessler was a Los Angeles Laker. I showed up on the NBA's official transaction site first. But bottom line, Walker Kessler deal, done. So two second round picks, a couple of pick swaps for Walker Kessler.

My hope had been that Jared Vanderbilt would have been going out in the deal as well

to provide the Lakers with a little bit more flexibility.
