Jonathan, I'll tell you, if I'm a Jewish New Yorker, I'm worried today.

Are you?

Yeah, look, Brian, first of all, it's great to be on the show,

and I appreciate you putting a spotlight on this. I am concerned. And the fact of the matter is hundreds of thousands of Jewish New Yorkers are alarmed and that anxiety is well placed. I mean, one thing I would say, we have learned as Jews over the years to believe people when they tell you they're going to do something, like take them at their word.

And so in an environment or anti-Semitism has skyrocketed. It's been a torrent of hate.

Literally, the incidents are up all over the country, a thousand percent in the last nine

years. Here in New York City, assaults are up 32 percent year over year. I hear every day from

Jewish New Yorkers. And here's the thing. This man, this mayor elect, if you will, has said things and committed to do things that might

may very well make this environment even more unsafe for Jewish New Yorkers. So we're going

to judge him not by what he promises in a speech for once, but we are going to hold him

accountable for what he does.

And so we've launched a couple of things today.

I can talk about Brian, but we are literally, I will make sure, as God is my witness,

that every Jewish New Yorker knows that ADL has your back.

And we will make sure with everything we've got, we hold this mayor accountable.

By the way, like we would any other mayor, but no other mayor, Brian, in America, has made the

Jewish state a central plank in their political campaign. I mean, think about that, how ridiculous it is that he makes crazy claims that the IDF has

laced the boot on your neck of the NYPD.
