Well, we can talk about him behind his back till he gets here.

I was reading some of the old articles too about him back in the day and his

Nashville move, so we wanted to ask him about that.

But you actually bridged out a lot of those gaps, too, and we'll get to that with artists that

go Texas as Nashville, some go Nashville, Texas now with Chase Bryant.

But the big news that you guys had recently, and one of my favorite

pieces of art in a long time, I think like album wise, was the Marfa tapes.

And I think for me, and I don't want to speak for West, but we get a little jaded by the

industry right, the mainstream, the way things are done, the radio, all that, all that stuff.

When I hear that album, I was like, this is what it's all about.

This is what made me excited to like get into like country music to begin with for Whiskey Riff.

And you guys kind of evoked that emotion listening to that.

Great.

So there's so much to talk about, but just the start, the idea, where did that kind of

ignite?

The idea of putting this out as a record.

Yeah, just like we're going to do this and we're going to do it.
