Great to have you with us as always. It's Monday or whenever you listen to this. I'm

feeling great. I hope you're having a great day as well, a great start to a

brand new week. As always I'm'm your host, Shane Told, I play in a band called Silverstein.

And this podcast is all about me talking to other lead singers about what it's like to be the front man or front woman of a band.

Now today we have kind of a special and kind of a different episode. I sit down with not one but two lead

singers of the great band Dance Gavin Dance. Now they have a singer, they have a

lead singer and a lead screamer, which is a little bit different.

Both of them are standalone, they don't play another instrument, so they really basically

have the same job as each other, just one is more on the gritty side and one is more on the

pretty side.

Now I have known Dance Gavin Dance for a very, very long time back when Johnny Craig was their singer Silverstein we took them on

one of their first ever you know real national tours and I've kept in touch with

those guys ever since John Mess who is their lead screamer and has come

and gone in the band actually.

Me and him have been friends for a very long time, so it was great to have him on board
