That's when it got wheels off. He started ugly. He ain't going to stop. Oh, she made me feel like

with God. That's when it got wheels off. John D. Graham is a character.

He's a fifth generation Texan.

He's a great musician, great songwriter.

He played in The True Believers, played in a band called The Skunks, released solo albums.

He's in the Austin Music Hall of Fame.

Played with John Doe, James McMurtry, Eliza Gilkinson, Michelle shocked.

A lot of artists that have meant a lot to me, and he is also himself one of those artists.

John D. Graham is a really good dude, really funny guy, sweet guy. Fascinating story throughout his life. His recent story continues to be intriguing as he survived a, as he would describe it, not a near-death incident. He died and then was revived. But he's, you know, he's been surviving some stuff lately, but not only is he still kicking, he is killing it. He's got a new record that's great. And he's great. I get a kick out of talking to him and I think you're going to enjoy listening to him, tell some stories. There's a little section that the editors will have to chop out about two-thirds of the way

through the interview where he brags on his son and announces some stuff that he's

technically not supposed to announce yet about his son William.
