The UFC has arrived in London.

Today I spent the time with John Anick, who's the commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

He's been with the organization for about a year, and he had a lot to say.

You know, a lot of you might think that he has the ultimate dream job because you see him

tearing it up on a regular basis when he's commentating but he puts in the work

he reckons he flew 127 times last year and the amount of research he does

in his off time it's really incredible to fathom. He does a conference call with each fighter

where he speaks with him for 20 minutes before every

bout and he had a lot to say about what he calls reps and by that he meant

repetitions and in his mind broadcasting and being successful is all about putting those reps in.

The other thing he said about when he got the call from the UFC is he said, always be ready and

then let it rip.

And I have to agree with John says. says I mean I pretty much try to use that

philosophy in my own life and it was really nice having him here he also

spoke about him getting the phone call on Christmas Day to basically call

UFC 155 the heavyweight championship with the master Joe Rogin and I thought

they did a wonderful job together and I think John really stepped up so I

think you'll enjoy this episode getting to meet him and he's just a very cool guy

and has a lot of interesting things and opinionated things to say about the UFC.
