Hello and welcome back to Control or Delete. This is a replay of an old episode with JoJo Moise,

recorded back in 2018 at the Pinguin offices. JoJo Moise is a novelist, best known for her best

selling book Me Before You, which is now sold over 8 million copies worldwide. She's been a full-time

novelist since 2002, and before that she was a journalist for 10 years. The film adaptation of Me

Before You starred Sam Claflin and Amida Clark, which was released in June 2016 and was a huge

box office success. She also wrote the screenplay for that film, and since its interview she's

gone on to publish The Giver of Stars, which is out now. In this episode we talk about dealing

with projection. We talk about how JoJo wasn't always selling millions of copies of her books,
