Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends. Happy Advent. This is Sally Clarkson and I'm so glad you joined me

at at home with Sally and friends. And oh my goodness, I have been thinking so much about

all of you. I'm speaking with you today from Oxford where I am living now near several

of my children, not right with them, but several of them. Two of them in Scotland and St.

Andrews getting their PhDs and then of course Sarah and Thomas are in Chichester serving

in a church there with my other two grandchildren. So Oxford is a place I love and actually I've

told you many times that I love my little house here. But I bet you're like me. I am telling

you, I am so tired of this coronavirus and the lockdown and the isolation and things

being closed and I know you are too. And so I pray for all of you so often. But I've

been thinking lately that Clannie dreamed he came to me about a year and a half ago

and he said, I think that since we've seen the Lord open up a ministry in Oxford, we

should go there and cultivate it for a while while the kids are there because then we could

see them. But we could also do more conferences and train more people and speaking more groups.

You know, let's end the last decade of our lives really trusting God for something new.

And it's a little bit funny being here because we can't have anyone in our home and we

can't meet with anyone. So I'm sure that if you're like me, hasn't this year been full

of surprises. But I've actually been thinking about this a little bit and I was thinking

during this Advent season how similar this must have been to the Jews who read about
