0:57.1	Weird coincidence there. He's also a longtime friend, fairly polymathic on many issues,
1:03.0	author of many books, and a dear old friend. David, welcome back to the remit.
1:06.7	Thanks for having me again. And thank you for referring to me as a fan favorite and then calling
1:11.4	it counter programming. Well, so the counter programming thing is often when there's
1:15.4	heavy punditry going on opportunities, I'll do like, who was Leo Strauss, right? Just
1:20.7	staying off of the news kind of thing. So counter programming is not an insult. It is something
1:26.8	that our listeners love dearly.
1:29.5	With all that in mind, I was about to say,
1:32.3	so do you get the Protestant Reformation without the printing press?
1:35.1	But we'll hold off on that for just a second.
1:37.4	And instead, I have a weird question for you.
1:40.1	As you know, politically, a large number of people who voted for Trump in 2024 did so because they were nostalgic for the pre-COVID economy of the first Trump administration.
1:51.5	And there are some of us who would argue that that economy, to the extent policymakers and politicians can drive an economy, the ones who did so were people like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell
