over tax strategy. Happy Wednesday morning, everyone. Before we get into it, we are starting the

top of punchful news with the look at the fact that the

November elections are finally over. Democrat Adam Gray officially defeated Representative John

Duarte in California's 13th district. Man, the margin of victory was very close. 187 votes out of nearly 211,000 cast.

That means the final House results are in at 220 to 215 in favor of Republicans.

But the fact that President-elect Donald Trump has poached a few members of the house to be part of his administration

he now uh speaker mike johnson now has a majority of 217 to 215 uh to kind of try to rule the

house here in the first quarter of 2025 that is a tight margin, Jake. That isn't even a margin.

Let's be clear here. And it's great to be back with you, Anna, after a long Thanksgiving break.

It's not because 217 to 215 means if Johnson loses one vote, one, one, solitary vote.
