We are leading Punchball News AM with an interesting newsy item about Speaker Mike Johnson waiting

into the Montana Senate race.

I got a lot of thoughts here.

Yeah, I think, Anna, you spent part of your youth on TV in Montana. Am I right about that?

Wyoming. Wyoming. It's like you don't even know me. And those two states are not the same, but I do,

I have spent some time in Montana. They're both big. Well, you've, okay, well, listen, I don't know that the people of

Montana are looking for Mike Johnson to

weigh in on their Senate race, but Mike Johnson is weighing in for Matt Rosendale. Matt Rosendale is a

hardline conservative Republican lawmaker who is actually a Marylander, if I'm not, if I'm not

incorrect, but he is a Marylander who has represented Montana in the House since 2023, born in

Baltimore, actually. And he is not the choice of Mitch McConnell, the NRC, or Senate leadership fund.

He is the choice, though, of Mike Johnson.

The NRC and the McConnell operation and most Senate Republicans want Tim Sheehe,

who is already running and already getting a lot of attention in Montana in this race
