Washington headlines of the day. Number one, where Johnson and Jeffrey Stan. Number two,

Big thanks to Brendan Peterson for filling in for me on Friday. While President Donald Trump is

heading to China this week in what could be a hugely consequential trip mid the U.S.

war with Iran. Back home, there is a lot happening when it comes to Speaker Mike Johnson

and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffreys. The two leaders enter this two-week session

with dramatically shifting fortune. So interesting. I mean, you know, two to three weeks

ago, Hakeem Jeffries taken the victory lap, kind of straight to us confidently talking about how

Democrats had won when it came to redistricting and what that means. And now, obviously with the

Supreme Court decision on the Voting Rights Act, as well as the Virginia decision, a bombshell

going through Democratic politics. Yeah, and the Wizards got the number one pick, Anna.
