So just today, Texas A&M negotiated an updated settlement agreement with Dr. Kathleen McElroy. The university also announced that they were replacing their outgoing president who resigned over Dr.

McCleroy's racist, botched hiring. So if you've not been following this story, it is infuriating to me.

And I think it really shows how far we have fallen when it comes to conversations about inclusion

in this country. Basically, Dr. McElroy is a black woman with a long and storied career in journalism

spanning 20 years in different editing positions at the New York Times. Ever heard of it? Before
