John wrote an article, a series of three articles, talking about how the current pope, the vicar

of Christ, if he still calls himself that, I think there's some controversy.

The current Pope is, this is not a joke, trying to rehabilitate the figure of Judas is scarriot.

Now, that might be a problem, but John has written three articles about this. And this is kind of deep

theologically, but John happens to be able to make it funny and accessible. So we're going to bring

Yeah, this was something that kind of blindsided me.

I saw a column about it by a writer named Marian Horvath, very smart thinker,

pointing out that in the Italian edition of Leservatory Romano, which is the official

Vatican newspaper, it's the Pope's mouthpiece.

It's like your weekly newsletter, Eric. He had tried to rehabilitate the figure of Judas.

He ran a series of articles. He found this obscure painting by a French mystic, which imagined that the moment Jesus died,

he got off the cross in some mystical fashion and went over to find the body of Judas and tend to it and take care of it.

Now, first of all, this is not a joke, number one.
