Last night as the Yankees defeated the Cleveland Guardian 6-3, they did make a few mistakes.

That happens. It was not a perfect game by any stretch. We talked about Garrett Cole struggling,

not being able to get through the fifth inning.

But in the bottom of the sixth inning,

this is when I think Yankee fans probably

had their most oddada.

And that was when they were set up for a big inning,

leading only three to two. They got a lead off double by jazz

chism as first hit in a while and then I walked to Anthony Volpe and they're set up

first and second nobody out here we go and then we saw a cavalcade of Yankee base running mistakes and that's very important

because before we get to the grand conclusion from the great John Sterling, you need to see the story that was being written.

It wasn't just John Flippettly saying, the Yankees run the bases like quote a bunch of drunk run the bases like

drunks that's the headline but remember there were things that led to this

so earlier in that inning, Jazz Chisholm leads off second, first and second nobody out, and this happens.

There goes Chisholm and he's going to be picked off.

The throat of second, he's picked off. The throat a second he's picked off. Of course the Yankees, that's how they run the

basis so I don't know where he was going and what he was doing and I don't understand why.
