John, you know, we heard you on the airwaves just about 15 minutes ago, one of your spots here on 77 WABC.

So why don't you tell us a couple of things that you're thinking about, talking about as we get into the early part of the year?

Well, the spot was all about the conductors in the New York City subway system who are a vital cog in the public safety element of the two-person train crew.

And we have folks at this very moment who are plotting to get rid of the conductors in the New York City subway system. And that's an absurd thought.

The conductors and the two-person train crew are vital to the two-york City transit riders.

And New York City transit riders overwhelmingly support the conductor and the two-person train crew and they're here to stay. And we're going to protect that train crew and they're never going to go anywhere. So I'm assuming that from the MTA perspective, they're just trying to make an argument that it's what, some sort of redundant expense or that it's not necessary and that they don't have the money to pay for it or whatever? Yeah, I think there are executives, beginning with the CEO, Jan Al Lieber, that would love

to get rid of them.

But the lower level bosses at the MTA wholeheartedly support the conductors there.

They know that the conductors are extremely important in instances such as deep in the

whole evacuations underneath Manhattan, for instance.

And, you know, the operational bosses at the MTA know how important they are.
