article published on July 11th in Brightpart by, well it was an interview with John Rich, who is a country music songwriter.

I think he's gone solo.

He was part of the band called Big and Rich.

I'm not sure if they're still around

around Nashville for a little while and I've certainly heard of him and if you

watch Fox News I think he's got some some special show or something on Fox News I know I've seen his face on there, but anyway,

he was in this, he did this interview and some of the comments that he made in this

interview to me are just spot on. It's and I thought this could easily apply to so many

other things including evangelical Christianity and he's talking about country music here. I want to read the article and then just as we're going through I'll give you some thoughts.

But it this is the root issue of why it's like what Edmund Burke said the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing

That's what we have going on. That's what's going on in just about every institution

Good men are not doing what they should be doing.

Good men who are in positions of authority to do something are not doing those things.

I'm going to give you some of my own personal stories about that, so my own analysis

about that in Christianity in the

Southern Baptist Convention especially, but we're going to look at John Rich's words

which are applied to the industry of country music because I honestly you know most country music

artists I think are conservative they lean that way at least I remember years

ago when I used to watch like their award shows and stuff I haven't a long time

they would thank God they would award shows and stuff I haven't in a long time. They would many times even

thank you know their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and their themes in their
