Not only is the guitar player, though, he's a great producer.

He's produced a lot of their albums.

I'm really curious about how he produces, how he plays guitar, and how his production influences the decisions he makes as a guitar player.

A Dream Theater's been around a long time.

Longer than I've even been alive.

They started as a band called Majesty, which happens to be the name of one of John Petrucci's signature guitars with Music Man.

They've been one of the most influential Prague rock bands of our time,

and for good reason, they're really good.
