Man, I had a great last month on the road.

I got to tell you.

I flew down to New Orleans where the Cayamo Cruz was embarking from.

Now that is a cruise through the Caribbean

that specializes in the type of music that I play. That type of music used to be called

Roots Music. Now it's called Americana Music, but it's basically just a bunch of singer-songwriters, in this case on a boat.

And I got to catch up with a lot of friends and make some new ones and I got to play a

handful of sets of music and then I taped a few podcasts with the other

artists on board. It was great. I tell you this though, being on a boat in general especially a boat that big I

don't know if I'm cut out for it those boats are like 14 stories tall.
