We Run New York is a documentary series that's currently in production and it shares the stories of New York City's running scene.

I can personally attest that life in New York can sometimes be

pretty challenging and being a runner in the city is even harder. But there's a huge

subculture of people who make it a priority and who thrive in the environment and it's those stories that the series is going to

aim to tell. I know that they're dedicating a whole episode solely to coach Gags,

you know the Bronx native who coaches New York as well as another episode to a group of

Ethiopian immigrants who live about 8 plus to an apartment and live on just prize

money that they win. The team behind it is the duo of

former 800 meter all-American term filmmaker Harry McPann and his friend and

former teammate Paul Snyder now of City Smag Fame.

That team is passionate about the sport in the city so I'm really excited to see the

episodes which are slated to start rolling out later this summer.
