1:07.0	And he was kind of surprised when they called him in and said they were going to investigate him.
1:12.0	He actually went in first without a lawyer, thinking, again, naively, that he would just answer their questions.
1:19.2	And his nephew told me he actually confronted John and said, you've got to be out of your mind.
1:27.2	You can't go into a procedure like this without a lawyer.
1:31.2	So then John got himself, you know, a wonderful pair of lawyers,
1:37.4	including one guy who had broken the priest abuse scandal in Boston.
1:43.8	So anyway, so he got himself good lawyers, but they,
1:49.0	Harvard was very concerned about its reputation.
1:52.8	They were hearing from alumni that this was very bad for Harvard.
1:58.0	It was making Harvard into a laughing stock.
2:04.5	And so they convened this,
2:11.1	I call it an inquisition, because they told John, when they called him in, this is not an inquisition. So being a psychiatrist, he said, well, why are they using a word that they're not doing?
2:19.3	So he fastened on that, and it was an inquisition. They were inquiring into his finances, into his beliefs,
2:24.1	and it was all secret. And by the way, to this day, Harvard has never laid out the documentation for this investigation.
