Welcome to Sotriology 101. Today I Flowers. Welcome to Sociology 101.

Today I want to walk through Romans chapter 9 with John MacArthur, listening to his

verse by verse kind of going through Romans 9 and he goes up into 11.

We'll go as far as we can here.

Won't get to it all, obviously.

But this is one of the big questions I have because I have so many different Calvinists who say, well, I don't agree with what you represented as our interpretation of

Romans 9 in this particular discourse or that particular discourse. And like we've often said,

you know, Calvinism is not a monolithic group with just one spokesman who all hold the same

exact view. In fact, we've even got some quotes, as we've talked about before, in John

Piper's commentary where he actually disagrees.

He quotes from John Stott and Leon Morris, who are both Calvinistic, and disagrees with

their findings on certain passages within Romans 9.

And I'm sure there's probably some differences between maybe John Piper and MacArthur and some of these others as well. And so just as I've argued, I don't think

it's ever possible to rightly represent another person's perspective to the, to the satisfaction of

every one of those opponents, because Calvinism has different views, just like there are different views even within the

non-Calvinistic worldview. There are certain traditionalist Armenian types of argumentations that

are different with one another on particular verses. There's nothing wrong with that.
